Workshops for Residents of Retirement or Long Term Care Homes

Sparking Imagination & Creativity While Building Connection & Joy

Arts Based Workshops are an ideal way to engage your residents in fun & creative activities that reduce social isolation, develop new skills, promote a variety of ways to communicate, honour every individual and bring greater meaning to daily life. For staff who are supporting the residents, it’s a valuable training opportunity as well!

Programs Inspired by TimeSlips

What’s TimeSlips? TimeSlips is an international network of artists and caregivers committed to bringing joy to late life. Their mission is “Bringing meaning and purpose into the lives of elders through creative engagement”. That happens to be part of the mission of Artful Connections too, so I jumped on board, received some awesome training, and got certified as a TimeSlips facilitator. I’m so happy to offer some TimeSlips inspired workshops and to introduce you to this wonderful organization.
